I've completed internships in marketing and business development where I supported both nonprofit and corporate teams. These experiences strengthened my skills in communication and strategic thinking, which I go into more detail on in the projects below.
Marketing Intern | OREP Insurance
Conducted acquisition target research on niche competitors and potential opportunities, organizing and analyzing company data to support decision-making. Worked with the team to review firms across specialized insurance markets and help refine acquisition criteria. Also supported digital marketing efforts by assisting with email campaigns, newsletters, and ads using Mailchimp, gaining exposure to email marketing.
Marketing & Development Intern | Boys to Men
Co-led the creation of a new fundraising initiative and contributed to outreach by contacting local businesses to secure donations and build community relationships. Assisted in organizing a golf tournament that raised over $225K. Supported event promotion and community engagement, while also helping with various marketing and operations tasks in support of the organization’s mission.
